Day 8
Do as the Romans Do!
  • On this final day in Rome, do as the Romans do! This also means do as you like! This is your day to explore what interests you most about Rome! Maybe you want to check out one of the local markets, rent a bicycle to see the city on 2 wheels, or sleep-in and explore town looking for the best gelato spot (hint – your trip leader can share the top spots!). Or perhaps you want to fit in another museum day, exploring one of the most fascinating museums in Europe – the Vatican Museums. With the same ticket, you gain access to see Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel along with the largest church on Earth – St. Peter’s.

  • This evening, for our final dinner, we have the special privilege to eat in a Roman home! Our host will welcome us into her home with a welcome drink where we will toast to our week in Italy. She will prepare a multi-course meal for us and we will enjoy the experience of eating like a real Roman!
