Truly America’s Finest City! Come recharge those batteries with a long weekend full of beaches, world-class craft breweries, and great food. Split your time between San Diego’s hip downtown and the relaxed oceanside town of Carlsbad.
ITINERARY
Day 1
Welcome to America’s finest city!

Arrive to San Diego by 3pm, so you can drop your bags at the hotel and explore for a bit.

At 5pm, meet up with your new travel fam for a welcome happy hour and quick orientation followed by a fabulous welcome dinner at a local restaurant! After dinner, feel free to enjoy San Diego’s downtown scene with your fellow travelers.

Day 2
Tour the celebrated Coronado Island

Enjoy an early breakfast and head out to San Diego’s celebrated Coronado Island for a standup paddle boarding experience on San Diego Bay before the winds pickup.

Experience the serenity of being on the water and take in spectacular views of San Diego’s skyline and the famous Coronado bridge. After, enjoy a picnic lunch and some beach time!

In the evening, reconvene for a brewery tour of some of San Diego’s most well-known breweries! Enjoy dinner along the way.

Day 3
Northbound on the 101

After breakfast and checkout, it’s time to head to our North County home for the next two nights! En route stop in La Jolla to experience the marine life of La Jolla including sea lions, leopard sharks and more! Enjoy a kayaking tour exploring the famous caves of La Jolla (entering the caves is at the discretion of the expert kayak guides)!

After enjoying lunch on your own in La Jolla, continue north to settle into your beachy home for the next two nights.

Day 4
Live like the locals do

Your day to get up extra early for a morning hike or choose to sleep in (it’s your vacation after all!). This is your day to relax on the beach, wander the shops in town, or rent a bicycle to ride up and down the coast. This day is yours.

We will reconvene in the evening for a farewell toast and final meal together.

Day 5
Adios San Diego!

Today is our last day in San Diego with your new travel fam. After a final breakfast together, we will part and go our separate ways.

Check-out is at noon, but the hotel will be happy to store your bags should you take a later flight (which we recommend!).
