Meet your trip leader at our first hotel at 10am to store your bags. After some intros and orientation, stretch your legs with a walk to lunch.

Enjoy your first lunch getting to know your travel fam for the next 10 days!

Then continue the afternoon with a tour of the historic center of Cape Town.

Later, settle in at the hotel prior to a welcome drink and your first South African meal!

After breakfast, we start the trip on a high note with an opportunity to explore the Cape Peninsula and to visit Cape Town’s penguin colony!

Visit the idyllic beach towns along the coach and then stop for a seaside lunch. In the afternoon, lounge on the beach or opt for a surf lesson!

After a full day, enjoy this evening on your own exploring Cape Town’s restaurant scene at your leisure.

It’s time for an early morning trek to the top of Cape Town’s famed Lion’s Head Mountain. Enjoy unparalleled views of Cape Town’s coastline, along with Table Mountain, and the famed winelands outside of Cape Town.

After getting your energy up in the morning, use this final day in Cape Town to explore on your own. Perhaps you want to head to Robben Island to learn more about South African history. Or maybe you want to go to the local markets for a bit of shopping. Or spend the day relaxing at one of Cape Town’s exceptional microbreweries.

Reconvene in the evening for your final dinner in Cape Town at one of the cities hottest spots!

After checkout, we’ll head to our home for the next two nights and explore the winelands en route! We will have the opportunity to taste the best South Africa has to offer, learning their techniques along the way!

After a full day exploring, settle into our home for the next two nights in the charming wine village of Franschhoek.

Tonight, you can relax in this charming town and have dinner on your own.

Today you can pick your own adventure! Whether you want a relaxing day at the hotel and exploring town shopping or you can opt to check out a few more wineries in town!

Or if you’re into the outdoors, spend the day hiking in the spectacular mountains surrounding town.

Later, we will head to dinner together to enjoy a beautiful wine paired dinner

Today it’s time to pack up and Say goodbye to the western cape! This morning, we will fly from Cape Town to Johannesburg.

On arrival, we will explore Johannesburg by car, enjoy a quick lunch and then continue our drive into the bush where we will spend the next 5 days in the African bush looking for those elusive big five animals!

After an early wakeup call, we will set out on our first game drive in search of what you all came for – to catch a glimpse of some spectacular animals in their natural habitat.

Return to camp around 9:30 to enjoy breakfast followed by a morning at your leisure by the pool or reading a book or playing some fun games.

After a late lunch, we’ll head out for our evening game drive to get another opportunity to see animals up close! After sunset and a “sundowner” or happy hour drink, you’ll return to camp for dinner.

Start the day early to embark on a bush walk or game drive. You will set off on foot with your expert bush walk guide in order to get a new perspective on the bush – up close and personal with the animals and all the beautiful flora of the area! Use all your senses this morning getting in touch with the sounds and smells of the wild! Return to camp for another hearty breakfast.

After lunch, head out on another game drive and enjoy sundowners with a beautiful sunset! Return to camp for a fireside dinner at the traditional Boma!

After your early morning game drive, enjoy your breakfast and some leisure time before you join your fellow travelers to learn the ways of African cooking! You will have the chance to cook a traditional African style lunch and enjoy your spoils!

Later, take your afternoon game drive and return for another great dinner!
 

Soak in this final day in the bush with your final two game drives. Your trip leader might just have some fun final day activities cooked up as well!

Enjoy your final sunset and dinner recounting all your fond South African memories!

Today is our last day in South Africa. We will have one last group breakfast before we say our goodbye's. We will drive together back to Johannesburg in time to make evening flights.
